Zest is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Birmingham on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced teaching staff to support students with a variety of learning difficulties. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey. The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will have experience in a similar role previously role previously or possess transferrable qualities from their previous work. Responsibilities of the SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Providing 1:1 support to students with learning difficulties, ensuring their individual needs are met
* Assisting the class teacher in implementing tailored learning activities and interventions to support students’ progress
* Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
* Promoting independence and social skills development among students, encouraging them to reach their full potential
