We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Drake Hall, a category C Prison located in Stafford.
HMP Drake Hall is a female prison and young offenders. The prison offers work education programmes and comprehensive healthcare services, including general practitioners, mental health support, and dental care. Wellbeing programs are also in place, focusing on physical and mental health through various activities and support groups.

Bank shifts as required - Mon-Fri 8-5
Salary
This position is Bank, you'll receive an hourly rate of £41.97 per hour.

What you'll be doing
As a Bank Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Need expert clinical skills and demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
* Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
* This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
* Act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
* Supporting senior clinicians on site, you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
* As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure patient safety, the management of complex cases, and ensure the most up-to-date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

* Registered professional with current registration (NMC, HCPC)
* Evidence of Continued Professional Development
* Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent
* Recognised prescribing qualification
