Our Client is a successful Specialty Chemical and Ingredients Supplier. They are now seeking a Business Development Manager Industrial Chemicals. This position will be home based with regular travel across the UK. It is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Sales Director
Job Purpose
To play a key role as part of the wider group to drive strategy for profitable and sustainable growth of the Industrial Chemicals business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. Play a key role in the successful achievement of all strategic aims of the unit
2. Increase sustainable profitability of the business unit
3. Develop business and opportunities for new customers across the UK and Europe
4. Maintain and nurture existing accounts within the UK and Europe ensuring high customer satisfaction and healthy long-term relationships, undertaking travel as necessary
5. Develop a healthy and growing pipeline by generating new customers and new product sales across existing customers
6. Use existing and new industry contacts to develop new product portfolio and principal relationships
7. Drive the achievement of sales forecasts against planned targets and take actions to achieve targets
