We're looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join our team in Kings Hill, West Malling.
As a Sales Support Administrator at Westfalia Fruit, you'll be a vital part of our team, collaborating closely with Warehouse, Procurement, Sales Support, and Commercial departments. You'll ensure seamless operations by accurately entering and managing crucial data, facilitating clear communication, and proactively resolving challenges. Join our dynamic team and make a real impact on our business success.
This is a full-time, permanent role. Please note that this position may require weekend work on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities include:
* Track and monitor container/vessel movements, updating system with arrival times at ports.
* Verify container weights, arrange load lightening as required.
* Communicate vessel arrival/delay information to relevant departments.
* Coordinate and manage transport logistics from port to warehouse and between sites.
* Update daily ETAs for warehouses and third-party sites.
* Manage and report on transport delivery claims.
* Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on delivery-related issues.
* Conduct market analysis of container haulage rates.
Requirements
* Prior experience in the FMCG industry, ideally within a sales support administrative or logistic role.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
* An analytical and problem-solving mindset, to identify challenges and implement productive solutions.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable
* Knowledge of the Fresh Produce Industry would be advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel would be desirable.
* Prophet system experience.
