Job Title: Chemistry Teacher (Secondary School) Location: Canterbury, Kent About the Role: Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Canterbury, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an NQT/ECT looking to inspire young minds and nurture a passion for science in students from KS3 to A-Level. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons, promoting a deep understanding of chemistry principles. The ideal candidate will be committed to raising academic standards and encouraging students to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students. Foster an environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry. Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention where necessary. Collaborate with the Science Department to support the delivery of the curriculum. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs. About You: A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), or a recent graduate working towards QTS. A passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire students. Strong subject knowledge of Chemistry at all levels, including A-Level. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities. Experience in the UK education system is preferable, but not essential. Why Join Us?
