As a Team Leader you will be part of a great management team providing day services to adults with a learning disability in Bexhill. Ensuring the service provides excellent, strength based and outcome focused support to clients, so they have a great day and are part of their local community. Leading support staff to provide excellent opportunities and support to clients. Leading and building the team, making day to day decisions, considering health & safety and quality assurance.
As a Team Leader, you lead in making a real difference to a person’s life by ensuring we have skilled and competent teams who attend to the small and personal details that really matter to our clients. Coaching and mentoring the team, bring good communication skills.
You will Lead and coordinate a staff team, including rota planning. Liaise with parent’s carers, stakeholders, and other professionals, attend associated meetings, preparing reports and support planning.
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed person to join us in the role as Team Leader in our Day Service in Bexhill.
We are looking for individuals who:
* Are able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with the skills to manage staff and ability to identify the needs and support required for our clients.
* Have the skills to communicate effectively through both verbal and written communication and the organisational skills to manage both their own and others time.
* Are self-motivated with an ability to work flexibly and on their own initiative to meet the demands of the service.
* Demonstrate they have the values required to work in the service such as kindness and compassion and to act as a role model to staff.
* Are able to reflect on their own practice and be willing to learn with a willingness to participate in training and development programmes.
* Are able to demonstrate how the travel requirements of the role will be met.

We currently operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.You will need to be available to work between the hours of 0730to 1930 on a rota basis.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
