To work on other campaigns and communications work as directed. Strategy: To create and oversee the plan for the place campaign, working with partners, agencies, the Director of Communications and Marketing, the Head of External Communications, and the Mayor’s Office. Responsibility To lead the place campaign work and other work as directed by the Director of Communications. Provide highest standards of professional communications advice and support. Maintain effective planning grids, including an annual forward plan, daily grid, campaigns grid, communications service rotas, and campaign and communications plans that support the corporate communications strategy. Qualification – Essential GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English A professional in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism qualification or proven experience. Solid user –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements - Criteria-to be Tested at Shortlisting. Excellent knowledge of delivering campaigns, ideally using the ROSIE or OASIS model of delivery, research and evaluation methods. Excellent understanding of successful stakeholder and partner relations Excellent knowledge of demonstrating and measuring the difference being made in terms of metrics, including ROI. Knowledge of people and London as a place for tourism, community cohesion and inward investment. Significant experience working in communications or marketing services. Significant experience delivering successful campaigns, ideally place, inward investment, community or fundraising campaigns. Significant experience in stakeholder mapping and forging lasting relationships with partners and stakeholders. Experience with agencies to deliver campaigns, key communications, or marketing work. Experience in managing significant budgets. Experience in organising and managing events. Experienced in collaborating with senior leadership. Experienced in developing excellent content, planning, using and creating channels and building our audiences. Leads and supports positive working relationships across the council and with partners to optimise outcomes. Enormously facilitates with various stakeholders to deliver the pace of change required for further success. Leads the way and encourages others to achieve continuous improvement with measurable benefits. Delegates decision-making where appropriate whilst supporting and managing organisational risk.
