Registered Manager Job in Great Dunmow - Education & Training Jobs

Are you looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact in a growing care service? We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead and develop a well-established care service covering Great Dunmow, Chelmsford, and Braintree. With (phone number removed) care hours per week and a dedicated team of office and care staff, this role offers the opportunity to drive business development, improve recruitment, and expand service offerings, including Complex and Children's Care.
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:
1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance and high standards of care.
2. Manage a team of 1 Administrator, 1 Care Coordinator, and a part-time Compliance & Training Manager, supporting 46 care staff.
3. Lead recruitment and business development to grow the service.
4. Ensure strong leadership and staff discipline, managing workforce challenges effectively.
5. Maintain high staff retention while improving efficiency and structure.
6. Oversee and improve the on-call rota with flexibility to build your own team.
7. Work closely with the leadership team to expand services, including introducing Children's and Complex Care packages.
Registered Manager Requirements:
1. Proven experience in managing a care service, ideally with private and CHC-funded clients.
2. Strong business development and recruitment skills.
3. A disciplined leader who can handle workforce challenges and drive service improvements.
4. Experience with Careline Live, Care Skills Academy, and Peninsula HR is beneficial.
5. Hands-on approach – remote work is not permitted due to previous challenges.
