EC&I Manager
We are seeking an experienced EC&I Manager to join a leading advanced manufacturer in Knutsford. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of cutting-edge production operations.
The Role:
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will head a talented EC&I team responsible for maintaining, designing, and optimising key systems within a high-tech manufacturing facility. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement control technologies that enhance efficiency, support safety, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the EC&I team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
* Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I equipment and systems.
* Plan, budget, and execute electrical, control, and instrumentation projects.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including HSE and ATEX.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* Collaborate across teams to align EC&I systems with production goals.
* Maintain EC&I documentation, procedures, and standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a professional with:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in an EC&I role within a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience in the chemical industry is a plus.
* Expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems with a strong safety and regulatory compliance focus.
* Familiarity with ATEX, DSEAR, HAZOP, and SIL standards.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
