We are looking for someone to fill the role of Director of Environment and Regulation - which sits in the Resident Services Directorate. You will be responsible for a dynamic portfolio of services that touch the lives of our residents, putting them at the heart of what we do while at a time when local government faces significant financial challenges.
The successful candidate will be accountable for leading a range of services including:
* Waste Services
* Parks and Open Spaces
* Grounds Maintenance
* Arboriculture
* Street Cleaning
* Commercial regulation (including licensing)
* Environmental crime
* Bereavement Services
* Markets
