Description:
Service Care Solutions is assisting a police force in Lancashire with the recruitment of a skilled Procurement Officer. We are looking for candidates who are part or fully qualified in Level 5 or Level 6 of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). The role involves managing procurement processes, tendering, and contract negotiations within public sector frameworks.
Requirements:
* CIPS Level 5 or Level 6 qualification
* Experience in public sector procurement
* Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and contract management
* NPPV3 Vetting required
Responsibilities Include:
* Undertaking procurement projects in line with public contract regulations
* Managing high-value tenders and contracts
* Providing procurement advice to senior managers
* Ensuring compliance with procurement laws and achieving value for money
