A fantastic specialist primary school in Bracknell is looking to welcome an SEN Teaching Assistant to their community in the new academic year starting September 2024. The school provides education to students aged 3-11 with additional needs. They are looking to take on an SEN Teaching Assistant to help support their students during their academic career. The school prides itself on prioritising both academic progress and independent development.
Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help the students with not only lesson material but also developing life skills. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work alongside the class teacher and other specialist staff within the school to ensure the students receive high-quality education and the support they need to stay on task. The students attending the school have a range of additional needs varying from autism to severe learning disabilities. The students benefit from more supervised and consistent support throughout the day, going through their academic career with someone who acts as a role model and a safe space to express themselves.

3. Access to purpose-built facilities
4. Full training provided
5. Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 3:30
6. £80 - £95 per day
7. Starting September 2024
