Your new role In this stand-alone role you will work closely with the Directors to assist and support the company's growth plans and foster a positive workplace culture by managing recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day HR activities. You will oversee all aspects of HR management, ensuring policy adherence and compliance with employment laws and will be responsible for implementing new practices to aid efficient scaling and contribute to the company's exciting expansion plans. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job descriptions, interviews, and coordination with hiring managers. Employee Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding, paperwork, orientation, and training for new employees. HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and review HR policies to ensure compliance and drive performance. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on employee matters, foster positive relations, and mediate conflicts. Learning & Development: Implement training policies, identify needs, and manage training records. Reward and Recognition: Advise on benefits and reward strategies. Employee Engagement: Nurture a positive work environment and employee commitment. Performance Management: Support managers with performance goals, reviews, and disciplinary actions. HR Administration: Oversee administrative tasks, maintain records, manage databases, and prepare reports. What you'll need to succeed Strong knowledge of UK employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Experience in developing and managing HR initiatives, training plans, staff policies, and handbooks. Proficiency in individual performance management and dispute resolution. Ability to produce and analyse statistical data and compile reports. Experience supporting line managers through change. Proven leadership capabilities, including coaching and mentoring skills.
