The Gateway Primary Free School is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC], a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime assistant as part of our midday team to effectively supervise pupils during the lunch period, providing a continuous presence to ensure the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils in accordance with school policy.
Responsibilities:
1. Promote positive play experiences and opportunities for children during the lunchtime break.
2. Encourage, support and foster positive relationships between children by providing positive and active play experiences and opportunities.
3. Administer first aid (A first aid certificate is desirable, but training can be provided).
