Job Description
We are currently seeking a Stock Controller to join our Warehouse team at our Chesterfield site. As a Stock Controller you will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills you will already have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication and tenacity are key attributes, whilst the ability to work pro-actively on your own initiative is also vital to the success of our department
Shift Pattern: 5 from 7 Nights (22:00 - 06:00)
Salary: £26,191.62 plus £2k nights allowance
As the successful candidate, you will contribute to the overall success of the site, and will report directly to the site Stock & Systems Manager
Job responsibilities of a Stock Controller include:
1. Liaise with Management and Operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads and amend and rework accordingly.
2. Manage, in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team, the problem pallet area.
3. Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity ensuring all checks are completed first.
4. Hold and Release process.
5. Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls etc
6. Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
7. Completion of daily reports required on a daily and weekly basis.
8. Managing multi client and multi customer queries
9. Assist Stock Management with investigations.
10. Any additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, email queries and samples.
Qualifications
As a Stock Controller you will possess the following skill, experiences and qualifications:
11. Previous stock control experience.
12. Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the stock department functionality.
13. Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
14. Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
15. Team player who can also work on own initiative.
16. In-depth knowledge of on-site systems.
17. Excellent communication skills.
18. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
19. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
20. Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns.
21. PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
