We are looking for a trustworthy and reliable individual to support a busy family by maintaining their home and holiday properties to the highest standards. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the household.
The role is either part-time or full-time.
The locations include: Selby, Budwith, Holme-on-Spalding Moor and other locations within the vicinity.
Flexibility in your duties and working hours are required, in particular to support with the holiday lets which have prescribed times for cleaning - otherwise we will be able to discuss a suitable schedule with the successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning, tidying, and organising the family home and holiday lets.
2. Putting away clothes, ironing, and managing laundry.
3. Shopping for household essentials and groceries.
4. Preparing meals as needed on occasion.
5. Organising the home and garden area.
6. Supporting with looking after family pets, in particular when the family are on holidays.
7. Liaising with tradespeople and contractors to maintain the home to a high standard.
8. General outdoor living areas cleaning and upkeep.
9. Maintaining confidentiality regarding all discussions within the household.
Key Attributes:
1. Must be trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive information.
2. Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
3. Enjoys caring for animals and comfortable feeding pets when the family is away.
4. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
5. Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not essential.
