Prospero Teaching is looking for committed, enthusiastic, and easy-going Learning Support Assistants located in Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding areas for the new school year.
Ideally, the perfect candidates would have worked as teaching assistants in the past and have experience working with SEN/SEND children. This could be based in both mainstream and special education schools, including working in Learning Resource Bases (LRBs) and certain Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) schools. Any people handling or additional training would be desirable but not essential.

* Hours: 8:30 am - 15:30 pm: Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience of working with children/adults with additional needs.
* Good behaviour management skills.
* Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued in the last year.
* The candidate should be sporty and willing to take children out of lessons to play from time to time.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child-related references.
