We foster an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child is supported to achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD Specialist) to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting students with complex learning needs, ensuring they receive high-quality, individualized education.Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored one-on-one and small-group support to students with PMLD.Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Personal Care Plans (PCPs) to meet students specific needs.Adapt learning materials and classroom activities to enhance accessibility.Support students in developing essential life skills and independence.Assist with personal care tasks, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to track student progress and adjust support strategies.Requirements: Previous experience supporting individuals with PMLD or complex SEN (preferably in an educational setting).Understanding of PMLD, communication strategies (such as PECS and Makaton), and sensory-based learning approaches.Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting students with profound learning needs.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support ( desirable but not essential ).Why Join Us?
