One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Business Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: This role is to deliver a comprehensive business support service for Adults and Children’s Social Care, including support of business and social care processes, customer facing support, statutory, formal and multi-agency protection, organising and minuting safeguarding meetings in accordance to Sutton’s Child and Adult Protection Procedures, Social Care complaints, Subject Access Requests and recruitment. Responsibilities/Duties: Report to Senior, Team Leader or Team Manager. Co-ordinate meetings and Minute taking. Ensure statutory requirements and time scales are met. Understand personal responsibility with regard to confidentiality, data protection and information governance. Updating and maintenance of data. Provide customer service and customer facing contact with clients. Processing referrals and applications. Action correspondence, emails, phone calls. Support the management of client relationships and expectations. Contribute to continual service review and development. Ensure attendance and constructive participation in supervisions appraisals and team meetings in line with Council standards. Complete mandatory e-learning and training.
