Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 Looked After Children (LAC)
* Create engaging lesson plans to support individual learning needs
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders
* Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
* Experience working with Looked After Children
* Enhanced DBS check
Additional Qualifications:
* Understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a school or home setting
* May require travel to different locations within Greater London
* Flexible working hours based on student needs
