Responsibilities
Managing an existing client base across the SL, TW, UB & HA postcodes
Business development across the same area
Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for forklift hire
Sell a variety of Material Handling products and related equipment
Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of material handling productsRequirements
There is no set background for this role, but the company are keen on speaking to individuals with a strong sales background, hire/rental or general financial understanding given that the role is focused on contract hire of material handling equipment. The company are also open to candidates outside of material handling if the individual comes from another relevant sales background with good numerical, administration, communication, and literacy skills. Ultimately the company are looking for confident, driven, and energetic yet disciplined individuals with professionalism and a long-term aim of having a sales management career.
