Eton Bridge are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a private equity backed services organisation based close to Winchester, Hampshire, who are seeking a new CFO. As CFO you will lead the finance function to ensure the effective management of the group’s finances and provide financial and commercial support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. You will maintain appropriate controls, forecasts and commercial analysis to ensure timely and accurate reports and accounts, and through these assist the business in achieving its objectives. Key responsibilities: Manage the working capital of the Group to recognise the competing requirements of adequate Capex to support growth Produce budgets and appropriate re-forecasts Maintain rolling cash forecasts to ensure future compliance with covenants Maintain good communications and working relationship with the Banks and Private Equity Firm Ensure suitable and robust financial controls are maintained across the group Lead and control the annual audit process Maintain tax efficiency across jurisdictions and group structure, utilising tax advisors as appropriate Prepare the monthly board pack Lead the commercial and financial input on bolt on acquisitions or merger opportunities and working with external diligence and legal advisors, as appropriate, to project manage the process to completion Manage the post-merger integration of targets On-going preparation of internal management information to align with likely exit requirements Support the CEO with strategic exit conversations and provide finance input Ensure that the business is “exit ready”, building and maintaining an up-to-date dataroom and lead on vendor due diligence Qualifications & experience: A Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) An experienced Finance Director/CFO from a standalone, profitable, well managed business Proven leadership skills, with a track record of leading a group of people and working towards a bigger picture for the betterment of the overall business A collaborative team player who is capable of forging strong working relationships throughout the group and fitting in with an entrepreneurial, high growth culture High energy and drive, willing to roll their sleeves up and work independently to further the overall Group agenda Experience of Industrial services, engineering, field service or asset rental would be beneficial but not essential Preferably previous Private Equity experience or managing a leveraged business requiring significant bank interaction High detail orientation with strong analytical and modeling skills - but able to maintain the bigger picture
