Developing and delivering our stakeholder engagement approach and continued development of NS&Is key strategic policy relationships, both internal and external to NS&I; Provide high quality strategic horizon scanning analysing the risks and opportunities from NS&Is external environment, including deep dives into areas of particular business interest; and Providing ad hoc internal consultancy support on business-wide projects, challenges and new opportunities. Person specification Essential experience Experience in strategy development, analysis and/or policy making and experience of using critical thinking to explore new subjects and ideas in order to understand the root of a problem. Essential skills Experience of in producing high quality presentations and documents, including performance reporting data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with a high level of attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise work across multiple areas to ensure effective delivery. Ability to work independently, but also as an effective collaborator in agile teams. Essential technical knowledge Project management qualification or relevant experience of supporting/running projects, or the willingness to learn these skills (all of the team are Agile PM accredited). Experience or knowledge of working in the public sector or wider financial services environment. Working for NS&I NS&I is currently working in a hybrid way with colleagues expected to work in the office for 40% of their working month and this will be increasing to 60% of their working month in the summer of 2024.
