Life on the team:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Power Platform Technical Architect to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Consultancy Practice within Computacenter. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate functional knowledge and development expertise in Power Platform to include Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven), Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power BI with real-life experience in designing and delivering customer solutions. Your role will be to promote and deliver innovative solutions to our customers, develop relationships with key customer stakeholders, and help them achieve their business goals.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead, own, and support the presales, delivery, and assurance of Power Platform based solutions, including responses to large-scale and complex customer opportunities.
2. Develop low code applications (Canvas app and model driven apps).
3. Deliver Computacenter Advisory services such as “app in a day” and envisioning workshops.
4. Help customers understand the capabilities of the platform, create technical specifications, and propose innovative ways of translating business needs into actual solutions.
5. Define and implement Application Lifecycle Management approaches that work for different types of customers.
6. Develop customer relationships to achieve trusted advisor status.
7. Collaborate with the sales, technical delivery, and operational teams in the development of Power Platform based solutions.
8. Develop future service offerings and value propositions.
9. Provide direction and technical leadership to more junior members of the team.
What you’ll need:
1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT Consultancy, at least 4 of which has been specific to the design and delivery of Power Platform applications, most importantly Power Apps (canvas and Model Driven).
2. Deep technical and functional knowledge of Power Platform functionality and applications.
3. Understanding of broader Microsoft technologies particularly SharePoint and/or Dynamics.
4. Proven understanding and application of Consulting and Project Management frameworks, approaches, and methodologies (particularly Agile).
5. Proven ability to present internally and externally to very senior stakeholders.
6. Experience of designing and implementing graphical User Interfaces would be a significant advantage.
7. Experience of designing and implementing complex Power BI solutions would be a significant advantage.
8. Microsoft certifications such as PL100, PL200, PL300, PL400, and PL600.
