Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Skipton
Salary: £85 – £95 per day
We are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a PRU provision in Skipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in challenging situations.
Key responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one support to students with behavioural difficulties
Implementing behaviour management strategies
Supporting students with their emotional and mental health needs
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
