About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician in Freeman Hospital your main responsibility will be to accurately, efficiently and safely provide pharmacy services under the supervision of the Pharmacist. These services will include dispensing medicines and advice to customers in line with procedures and protocol, ensuring all prescriptions are endorsed, counted and filed accurately and dispensing items and controlled drugs under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist as appropriate. We are looking for positive and approachable people who proactively engages with customers in conversation to understand their needs and offers relevant professional services and products. The successful candidate must hold a valid NVQ3 dispensing, HCA or equivalent qualification and be registered with the GPhC. Natural progression from this role would be into an Accredited Checking Technician, Pharmacy Supervisor, or Support Center role, alternatively look to continue working as a Pharmacy Technician within a different pharmacy environment such as business to business contracts, a larger volume stores. Progression opportunities will require mobility and flexibility to travel within the LloydsPharmacy Healthcare Services network.
