You will handle plan assessments, site inspections, dangerous building reports, and related tasks. All our inspectors are registered with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). Our borough offers a diverse workload including domestic, commercial, industrial, and high-rise residential projects. We provide ongoing training, support, and CPD through the LABC to help you progress your career or maintain validation. About You The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building inspection, a thorough understanding of regulations, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A BSR Class 3 registration and valid driving license is essential. Experience in Building Control, either public or private sector, is essential, along with knowledge of the Building Act, Building Safety Act, and Building Regulations. You should be willing to work with a professional, forward-thinking team to meet Building Control objectives. You will guide and mentor Class 2 Building Inspectors to gain experience for higher accreditation. A full UK driving license is necessary for traveling to different locations within the borough of Stockport.
