Due to our continued growth, Pick Everard are looking for an ambitious Senior Cost Manager to lead and shape a diverse range of projects in Glasgow. We work across sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence and heritage. With Pick Everard, you can expect to diversify your experience and work with some high-profile, prestigious clients.
As a Senior Cost Manager, you will:
1. Carry out audits, cost checks, and reviews of construction and FM contracts.
2. Ensure commissions are delivered on time.
3. Lead on the bid process and undertake a range of business development activities.
4. Mentor junior staff on a day-to-day basis, helping with the overall growth of the cost management team.
5. Have full control and ownership over your projects, providing you with a great level of autonomy.

About You
Our ideal Senior Cost Manager must have:
1. Significant experience delivering cost management of building projects from feasibility/option studies through to detailed cost planning and post contract cost management.
2. Thorough knowledge of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC3.
3. A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience.
4. A multi-sector background gained in a consultancy or construction environment.
It would be nice for you to have:
1. MRICS / Chartered Surveyor status.
2. A professional and compassionate attitude.
3. Excellent client communication skills, report writing skills, and presentation skills.
