Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Sports Graduates, to take on the role of Sports Coach in Secondary SEMH Schools in Accrington, starting May 2025. This role has the potential to continue on a long-term basis for the successful candidate. Job purpose: To assist the sports department in putting together a fantastic sporting schedule. Football, netball, cricket, or swimming are the school's four main sports, and the successful candidates should be able to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in coaching one or more of those sports. Key responsibilities: • Assist in the delivery of the athletic curriculum and coaching of lessons. • Assist the Director or Sport with department administration as needed. • Conducting coaching, tally, refereeing, or umpiring. Candidates for the position should be excellent, committed athletes on all levels who want to advance in coaching or become PE teachers. The best candidates will be diligent, dependable people who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in at least one of the school's focus sports.
