Job Summary/Purpose The successful candidate must demonstrate a good understanding of payroll practices, statutory requirements for SSP and SMP, and have a professional telephone manner, delivering an efficient, customer-focused professional payroll service. Primary Responsibilities Complete all aspects of payroll processing for both monthly and weekly pay runs, starters, leavers, contract changes, etc. Manually calculate SSP, SMP Set up statutory orders i.e. child maintenance, direct earnings attachments Process BACS Create weekly and monthly reports, distribute as required to internal and external resources Access and review correspondence including e-mails, prioritising and replying as necessary, in a timely and professional manner Assist regional administrators Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements Extensive payroll knowledge, must be able to manually calculate SSP and SMP Work under pressure and adhere to the set deadlines Excel and Outlook skills Demonstrate administrative and organisational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritise workload What We Will Offer You At Taylor Wimpey, we are committed to enabling you to make a home with us.
