Contracts Manager – Landscaping Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Days of Work: Monday – Friday Hours of Work: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: London & South East Salary: Up to £60,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience) About the Company A leading landscaping and civil engineering specialist delivering high-quality projects across the UK. With a strong reputation built over decades, they work with local authorities, royal parks, commercial developers, schools, universities, and high-end luxury developers. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage and successfully deliver multi-disciplinary commercial landscape projects within London and the South East. The Role The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of contracts, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and achieving budgeted margins. Projects will range in value from £100K to £4.5 million. Key Responsibilities: Managing and delivering contracts on time, within specification, and to budget. Ensuring gross margins are maintained across all projects. Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour teams. Procuring and managing resources, including plant, equipment, and materials. Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards. Conducting safety, quality, and environmental audits. Developing and updating Construction Phase Plans. Producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Creating and managing programmes of work. Maintaining accurate site records. Managing client and project team relationships effectively. Identifying and addressing potential project risks and proposing solutions. Preparing and presenting monthly progress reports. Producing and submitting monthly valuations. Recording and pricing variations, managing accounts, and submitting relevant documentation. Compiling and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs) and Relevant Variations (RVIs). Conducting project reviews upon completion. What We Are Looking For: A proven track record in the construction or landscaping industry. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing site managers and subcontractors. Full UK Driving Licence. Project Management Qualification (preferred). SMSTS (preferred). What We Offer: Salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience). Company Car.
