Responsibilities:
* Organise and book incoming deliveries for the company via containers and hauliers.
* Aid Goods in with any inbound discrepancies.
* Ensure warehouse picking capacity is kept at optimal levels.
* Organise customer despatches in line with business demand.
* Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer needs.
* Liaise with hauliers – both nationally and internationally, ensuring shipments have the correct documentation.
* Continually review freight costs and transportation rates to ensure we receive the most competitive costs.
* Co-ordinate the annual stock take, ensuring accurate records and working closely with the company external auditors.
* Manage day-to-day ad hoc stock investigations and interrogate stock histories.
* Manage the returns and collections process and investigate stock issues where applicable.
* Any other duties required by your manager.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience of working in a Logistics environment.
* Full driving licence.
* Stock control, logistics planning, materials planning experience.
* Organised with high attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 50 per week
