Position: Games Sound Designer
ICMP is seeking an experienced Games Sound Designer to teach eight evening courses (8 x 3 hours) on its Sound for Films, Games, and Television Industry Course. The lectures' learning outcomes will cover the basics of working in Sound for games and the use of professional tools and software, enabling students to carry out simple sound tasks within a game engine and/or middleware engine.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A professional in the Audio Gaming industry with at least 5 years of experience;
2. And/or an educational teaching background in Audio Gaming or a Games-related course;
3. Proficiency in Pro Tools or other Digital Audio Workstations;
4. Experience in the use of Unity Software or Unreal Game Engine;
5. Experience using Middleware Engines such as WWISE or FMOD;
6. Familiarity with Keynote/PowerPoint/Presentation software;
7. Ability to work evenings (Lectures are 7 pm to 10 pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings);
8. London-based or able to travel to Kilburn/Queens Park, North London area.
