We are on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic IT Trainer to join our Exeter office on a full-time basis. This is a really exciting role for a trainer to supervise and partake in the delivery of IT training across our 4 offices.
This role will enable you to get involved in some of the firm's new and ongoing projects, constantly looking at ways we can improve or do things better. Working with the Service Delivery Manager and IT Project Manager, you will ensure project and product training is produced and delivered as required.
You will be liaising with various departments and individuals throughout the firm to establish training requirements and identify areas of training where further development is needed. You will be responsible for looking at training needs and designing ways to develop training for its intended group. Having a good relationship with the Learning and Development Assistant in the HR department, additional training requirements will be built into the training programme as appropriate. The role will also look at reviewing and amending the content of the induction training reflecting any changes required.
Who you are
You may be in a similar role looking for a change; and with previous project management skills, you can demonstrate an ability to respond to the needs of the business, acting professionally and ethically to protect the confidentiality of the Firm and its people. Evidence of undertaking a professional training qualification is preferred.
Attending each of our offices roughly once a month, this sometimes requires overnight stays so the ability to facilitate this is necessary.
As a strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a flair for building effective working relationships across all levels.
Ask our people, and they will tell you that they genuinely enjoy coming to work and spending time with their colleagues.
We’re confident that once you discover our open and friendly culture, it won’t take long for you to feel the same.
We have a genuine team approach at Ashfords because we know that when talented people work together, we achieve more for our clients and each other.
We also recognise that each of our career journeys is unique. So, we will be ambitious for you and give you the support you need to develop your career, your way.
Importantly, we will give you the space and flexibility for your life outside work too.
Our goal? To help you realise your full potential as part of a forward-thinking team and business.
That’s what sets us apart.
Our offer
We offer a range of benefits to support you at work and at home.
This includes a flexible working framework, extra annual leave for your birthday, and the option to buy more holiday.
We have a comprehensive package to support physical and mental health including onsite yoga classes and a gym at our head office, healthcare plans, an Employee Assistance programme, and free access to the Headspace mindfulness app.
You’ll also have the chance to get involved in our responsible business programme, including fundraising initiatives through the Ashfords Foundation and bringing your energy to our environment or diversity groups.
