A great opportunity to work with chain customers in Casual Dining, managing one large key account, as well as identifying future opportunities for growth.
The role of Key Account Manager is part of a business that is made up of a number of subsidiaries across Europe, all working under a major international Group. They are a dedicated and specialist provider of innovative food products that are sold into Retail and Foodservice channels in UK, Germany, France, and Benelux.
Within the UK business this is a fantastic role that offers the best of Account Management as well as the opportunity to develop new business opportunities within a targeted market and list of customers. As an Account Manager you will be managing a large customer that is growing at a phenomenal rate and currently worth more than £15 Million.
Day-to-day you will manage the customer relationship with an emphasis on tenders, the product pricing, service levels, and sourcing. The role has one direct report who will provide administration, logistics, and data customer support.
1. Your network will be across all Chain customers in Foodservice and Out of Home including Casual Dining, QSR, Pub Groups, and Restaurant Groups
2. You will have experience of managing large accounts with multi-million P&L
3. You will have experience in the Food and Drink sector and be used to working with both Buyers, Chefs, and culinary teams
4. You’ll have a strong commercial acumen with well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
5. Finally, you’ll be a team player with the drive and ambition to thrive in sales and customer management
This offers hybrid working but will require you to be in the office in Surrey three days a week.
