Specific purpose of the role is to support coordination of current asset management activities for Offshore Energy and Infrastructure assets and in particular:o Manage tenant relationships for operational property agreements;o Ensure that contractual obligations are being fulfilled;o Provide assurance on contract management activities; Client Details A fascinating organisation Description The Asset Manager's role is to lead and deliver Scotland's activities in maximising sustainable and successful Offshore Wind, Wave & Tidal, Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage and Cables & Pipelines sectors in Scotland, through asset management of a portfolio of property agreements of increasingly significant scale and complexity. Specific purpose of the role is to support coordination of current asset management activities for Offshore Energy and Infrastructure assets and in particular:o Manage tenant relationships for operational property agreements;o Ensure that contractual obligations are being fulfilled;o Provide assurance on contract management activities;o Manage the effective income of rental revenues;o Support to projects stepping into Leases; ando Support and advice on Decommissioning of Assets.Main tasks Build and maintain strong tenant relationships to ensure tenants have trust and confidence in Crown Estate Scotland; To optimise revenue position for Scotland through the construction and operation of assets, taking account of investment and financing requirements, market and regulatory considerations; Contribute to monitoring, management and reporting of performance against budgets and business plan targets - budget planning and updates and forward planning; Support co-ordinated approach to project / portfolio management in E&I in line with assurance requirements; Contract management of Leases and any associated Asset agreements; Ensure assurance processes, checks and systems are maintained for comprehensive and effective asset management across Energy & Infrastructure Asset portfolio; Provide support, advice and leadership to our responsibilities for Decommissioning of E&I Assets; Business development activities as required by the business; Develop and deliver activities, and / or where appropriate coordinate the work of colleagues in achieving business targets in the sector that contribute to enhancing value and revenue in from the estate, maximising leverage and influence through collaboration; Undertake industry stakeholder engagement and relationship building - with industry players and other enabling organisations, to maintain a view of market conditions, and as a platform for influencing and shaping the business environment for the org. The post holder may also be required to provide occasional support to activities for other parts of the Energy and Infrastructure team. Profile Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent in business, science, engineering or related subjectpreferably supported by a business degree, relevant postgraduate qualification and/or appropriate professional accreditation(s)Knowledge of marine development, regulation and policy including detailed knowledge of the offshore wind sector, and associated practices, demand and markets/uses, with transferable skills (e.g. in technology or consenting), with general understanding of other sectors such as wave and tidal, CCUS, offshore cables & pipeline infrastructure.Communications and public relations experience, including working with the media, the government and agencies.Existing network Experience in coastal /marine resource and/or asset management and development;Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with accountability for budgets and achieving performance targetsincluding new business development within deadlines.Excellent team-working skills, with aptitude for both team-based and autonomous delivery in a matrix organisational structure.Good communications skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a range of audiences and appropriate presence to engage with senior stakeholders.Strong leadership, clarity of purpose, strong self-management skills, taking a pro-active approach to dealing with issues, managing workloads to meet challenging deadlines/goals.
