We are looking to speak with experienced Life Sciences Sales professionals for a new position with an established client, covering a territory across the Midlands and South Wales.
This role will work across an exciting product portfolio and will predominantly work with Academia and Biotechnology customers.
With around 80% of your time spent in-field, you will develop and manage customer relationships to drive sales activities and growth across the territory.
Key responsibilities will also include:
1. Proactively approaching both new and existing customers so as to grow business and market share.
2. Providing full support to customers throughout the sales cycle, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
3. Working with the Sales Manager to provide full sales reporting and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
4. Business planning – ensuring full planning of your own sales/territory activities each week.
This position will be an ideal fit for someone who:
1. Has a Scientific background – with a BSc in Molecular Biology or another related subject. A PhD will be advantageous.
2. Demonstrates excellent Life Sciences sales experience – with experience of liaising with customers within both academia and the biotechnology industry.
3. Can efficiently develop and implement business plans for an/the assigned territory.
4. Is driven, motivated and has a track record in driving sales and business growth in a similar role.
