Key Responsibilities
As the Finance Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:
Leading all financial operations to ensure seamless day-to-day management of our financial activities.
Overseeing group accounting, providing expert insight and analysis, and collaborating with external accountants to maintain high standards of financial reporting.
Ensuring internal management reporting, overseeing technical compliance, credit control, and financial risk management to safeguard our financial interests.
Supervising and mentoring finance staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within our team.
Driving the implementation of growth-driven solutions using technology to streamline our financial processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A relevant professional qualification, such as ACCA or CIMA.
Proven experience in a senior financial role, with a strong understanding of accounting systems and principles.
A proactive problem-solving approach, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and staff development, with a track record of fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Familiarity with using technology and cloud-based solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
