Due to a recent acquisition and expansion, I am delighted to once again be supporting this client with their finance recruitment. With offices throughout the North of England this newly created role is to be based at their smart, modern Head Office near Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Your new role
Working closely with and supervising an established team and reporting to the Head of Accounts, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. The role will include:
1. Supervising a team of 6-8 finance staff
2. Production of the monthly management reports
3. Running various client payrolls
4. VAT returns
5. Sales and Purchase Ledger invoicing
6. Invoice payment approval
7. Processing year end
8. Systems: Xero, Excel, Word
What you'll need to succeed
The strongest applicants will be those who have experience of working within an Accountancy Practice, looking after numerous clients both in terms of bookkeeping and payroll. You will ideally be AAT Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA. Used to working to tight deadlines and liaising with external clients, you will be adept at managing your own workload.
