Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our sites. We run up to 15 projects at any one time (ranging from Extensions, Conversions, Bathrooms, Kitchens to General Building works). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise a team while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Having a wide range of knowledge throughout the building industry is essential to enable you to deal with the range of various projects being overseen.
Responsibilities
1. Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
2. Supervise and coordinate the activities of site personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
3. Conduct regular inspections of the sites to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
5. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports and incident reports.
6. Implement best practices for site management, including resource allocation and workflow optimisation.
7. Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Skills
1. Proven experience in managing teams in the construction industry.
2. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.
3. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with various stakeholders.
5. Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
6. Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is essential.
