Job Summary: Eurofins BPT Small Molecule Method Development and Validation is seeking a Data Review Scientist II to join their team in reviewing batch records and ensuring cGMP quality standards are met.
1. Determine if data is compliant and defendable based on industry regulations and methodology
2. Verify scientific data is of sound quality following all method, industry, and client requirements where applicable
3. Ensure that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations
4. Review simple and complex routine and non-routine data (for three or more areas) according to departmental, corporate, and client SOPs; read and understand analytical procedures; ensure all work is performed according to GLP/GMP requirements and apply GLP/GMP in all areas of responsibility as appropriate
5. Diagnose problems, solve simple problems, and suggest solutions to complex problems in professional area
6. Review methods to ensure procedures are followed
7. Authorize written reports (e.g., SOP, OMC, client reports)
8. Other job duties as required
Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
1. Strong scientific and organizational skills
2. Strong attention to detail
3. Previous experience with LIMS
4. Previous experience with Excel
5. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
7. Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, mathematics, physics, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
2. 3 years of experience in a cGMP environment
3. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
