Customer Team Leader
Location: Hove - Kingsway, Kingsway, Hove, BN3 2WY
Pay: £13.32 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (until 11pm) and weekends, to be discussed at interview.
Full, paid training provided.
You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you’ll need to authorise age-related sales.
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

What you’ll do
1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service, often managing the store and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering various HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging open feedback.
7. Build relationships and engage with your local community, supporting the local Co-op community plan.
