About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Property Accounts Assistant to join our team 3 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in property or service charge accounting who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and wants to develop their skills within a well-established business. You’ll play a key role in supporting the financial operations across our property portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely processing of property-related income, expenditure, and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of service charge accounts Raise and process tenant rent, service charge, and insurance invoices Handle accounts payable and receivable for property-related transactions Monitor and chase rent arrears and outstanding payments Process and reconcile supplier invoices and contractor payments Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations Maintain accurate records of leases, tenants, and property charges Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with auditors where required Respond to internal and external queries relating to property accounts Ensure compliance with RICS service charge code and internal financial policies Skills & Experience: Experience in property accounting or finance admin role (commercial or residential) Good understanding of service charges, rent accounting, and property financials Proficient in Microsoft Excel and property/accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Qube – desirable) Strong numerical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities AAT qualified or working towards a finance/accounting qualification (desirable) What We Offer: Competitive salary benefits package Hybrid/flexible working options Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture Exposure to a wide and interesting property portfolio
