The Head of Marketing and Strategy is a key executive role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the company’s brand, increase market share, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in strategic planning, digital marketing, brand management, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns and will be adept at leading cross-functional teams.
1.Strategic Planning:
o Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
o Set long-term and short-term strategic goals and objectives for the marketing department.
2. Brand Management:
o Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s brand, ensuring consistency across all channels.
o Lead initiatives to strengthen the brand’s market position and reputation.
o Develop and implement branding campaigns to increase brand awareness and loyalty.
3. Marketing Campaigns:
o Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, events, etc.).
o Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
o Collaborate with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts support sales objectives.
4. Digital Marketing:
o Lead the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
o Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure the company’s digital presence is competitive.
5. Team Leadership:
o Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
o Set performance metrics and conduct regular performance evaluations.
6. Budget Management:
o Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
o Monitor and report on financial performance related to marketing activities.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with the executive team, product development, sales, and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
o Represent the marketing department in executive meetings and provide insights on market trends and strategies.
8.Market Analysis:
o Conduct competitor analysis and identify market trends to inform strategic decisions.
o Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Significant experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
* Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and market analysis.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think strategically and creatively.
* Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, SEO tools).
