Key Responsibilities:
1. Account Preparation: Prepare a small portfolio of dormant accounts and ensure completion to deadlines
2. Tax Returns: Prepare and review small company accounts and Corporation Tax returns
3. Complex Accounts: Draft complex small company accounts for senior review
4. Dividend Planning: Assist with basic dividend planning
5. Tax Returns: Draft basic partnership and non-resident company tax returns for review and submission
6. Bookkeeping Support: Assist with bookkeeping using accounting software (Xero) and update client records
7. Client Information: Provide key information to internal tax teams (UK and international) regarding clients' corporate positions
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Qualifications: AAT Level 3/4 or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
Experience: Experience preparing company accounts using accounting software is required
Education: Preferably a University degree (minimum 2:1) or at least 3 A-Levels (A, B, B or above)
Skills:
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel
* Strong attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of VAT, basic LLP accounts, or international clients
* Familiarity with Xero (training will be provided)
