Our client, a well-established secondary school based in Newbury, Berkshire, is seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Psychology to A-Level students in a supportive and dynamic environment that values academic success and student well-being.
About the Role:
* Teaching Psychology to A-Level students, with potential to teach at KS3 and KS4
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and student participation
* Assessing student progress and providing tailored feedback and support
* Contributing to the development of the Psychology curriculum and department initiatives
* Promoting a strong understanding of the subject while encouraging independent learning
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching Psychology at secondary level, preferably A-Level
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
* A collaborative and forward-thinking approach to teaching
