Blueleaf are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in our Crawley depot in West Sussex. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be a proactive problem solver, have a passion for sustainability and innovation in Logistics and a customer-centric mindset, ensuring service excellence and efficiency. This is a permanent full time role, working 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Operational hours are 05:00am to 10:00pm and typical working hours are between 08:00am and 5:00pm. Your day to day responsibilities: Live and promote Blueleaf's Culture and Values Warehouse Operations: Oversee all aspects of warehouse management, ensuring efficient goods-in, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch. Stock & Inventory Control: Maintain high stock accuracy and implement best practices for inventory management. Workforce & Resource Planning: Manage staffing levels, including hiring, performance management, and agency staff for peak periods. Transport & Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with Transport Management to optimise handovers, vehicle loading, and distribution efficiency. KPI Ownership – OTIF Performance: Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) targets are met, driving improvements in order accuracy and service levels. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all warehouse activities adhere to health & safety, regulatory, and company standards. Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Budget & Cost Control: Manage warehouse budgets effectively, ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining service quality. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team to drive high performance and engagement. Skills & Experience: Relevant warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management qualification (e.g., NVQ, ILM, or equivalent experience). Health & Safety certification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent). Significant experience in a management logistics role. Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS system management. Demonstratable ability to drive operation improvement and cost saving initiatives. Experience of risk management and health and safety regulations. What will we offer?
