We are seeking an experienced enthusiastic and forward-thinking Subject Leader who will lead the Science department with energy, intellectual capacity and determination. You will use your specialist subject knowledge and leadership experience to make a difference to the lives, aspirations and opportunities of our young people.
This position is suitable for experienced teachers and the successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of successfully leading a team or department. You will have proven strategies and will be able to confidently share your ideas for improvement and helping young people to meet and exceed their expectations. You will be resilient and compassionate and able to inspire colleagues of every level of experience. This is a full-time, permanent position, and we are offering a recruitment incentive package of up to £6,000 for the right candidate.
All students study all three single sciences up to GCSE level and the Sciences remain extremely popular in our UKAT Sixth Form. The department benefits from the Trust’s links to the University of Kent, with trips to the university campus and support via special projects, such as the Year 7 robotics transition project.
