The Department provides a Microbiological diagnostic and clinical support service to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, James Paget Hospital as the Eastern Pathology Alliance other Trusts and GPs, covering all aspects of bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, virology, serology and molecular diagnostics.
Full time: 37.5 hours per week

The Biomedical Support Worker is required to assist in the efficient running of the Specimen Reception area, to sort and label pathological specimens, and perform data entry in the Laboratory Information System. They will also provide support services to the Microbiology Department.
