We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant for an immediate start ongoing temporary assignment based in Cardiff.
Working for a large engineering company you will support with management accounts and projects and responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
2. Measuring the company's financial performance based on financial records
3. Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
4. Supervising the internal accounting team
5. Performing audits of departments within the organisation
6. Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll
7. Evaluation and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
The successful candidate will have:
8. Experience in management accounting
9. Qualified or QBE accountant
10. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
11. Proficiency in utilising financial systems and tools
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
13. Advanced excel experience to include Vlookup and pivots
14. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
This is a full-time Hybrid role working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and you must be available to work a minimum of 3 days in the office based in Cardiff.
